Districon developed a merchandising tool enabling MS Mode to optimize stock management in DC, stores and webshop
MS Mode is a fashion company, focussing on curvy ladies with sizes 40 – 54. There are more than 175 shops in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Luxembourg and Spain.
Districon developed a tool, which optimizes the merchandise allocation to achieve the highest sales before the mark down. The tool is divided into three parts: initial allocation, replenishment, and transfers between (web) shops. These transfers are calculated based on the past sales, forecast, and the input from the allocation team.
The tool supports MS Mode to make allocation decisions, while the user stays in charge having the final call. When a (re)allocation is confirmed, it will be used directly, as the tool is implemented in MS Mode’s IT environment.
