E-commerce propositie strategy development
Districon has defined the Supply Chain strategy for Wessanen, including an in depth assessment and improvement plan for their Sales & Operation Planning processes and organizational capabilities. For two of their countries we have supported Wessanen to define the best logistics footprint going forward. For a large number of transport lanes and some warehouse activities we supported them with benchmarking and contracting.
Wessanen is a European leader in healthy and sustainable food providing a large number of brands, which offer a variety of relevant food products across Europe. All of these products are made with ingredients from sustainable sources, making them nutritionally pure and rich in flavour. Wessanen requires their supply chain to fully comply with social and ethical standards.
Wessanen is working hard to make their operations as efficient and effective as possible. From how and where they source their raw materials to when and where they are consumers they want to make the entire value chain as seamless as possible.
